Ashanti offers a small range of reading glasses. As we get older we often need glasses for short range viewing, these are called reading glasses, they are simply optically correct magnifying glasses.
You may get a prescription for reading glasses from your Optician or you may already know your prescription. It is not necessary to have an optical prescription to obtain reading glasses if you already know your requirements.
If you have a prescription, just select the frame that suits you best and fill in the prescription boxes in the normal way before adding the item to your shopping basket.
If you do not have a prescription, but know the power you require, just fill in the prescription box with the powers and place the item in the shopping basket.
Only plus single vision lens are available in reading glasses and unfortunately it is not possible to order other lens and coating options.
It is possible if you have a reading glass prescription or know your prescription requirements to order optical frames to the prescription and take advantage of all the lens and coating options that are available.
All our reading glasses are made from nickel silver or acrylic and all feature temple spring hinges for greater comfort. They come in a variety of sizes and the finishes include brown acrylic, silver metallic, gun grey metallic and gold metallic.
All reading glasses come complete with hard case, safety lanyard and cleaning cloth.
