SELECTING YOUR FRAME SIZE

The prescription you obtain from the optician will give all the details of your eyesight requirements. The style and size of frame will be entirely up to you to select. If you already wear glasses there should be 3 numbers on the inside of the arm. The first number is the width of the lens. The second number is the width between the lenses ( the bridge) and the third number is the length of the arm from temple to tip (behind the ear)

If you do not have any markings on your glasses, or they are not visible, use a ruler to measure your glasses to obtain the correct dimensions. See diagram below.

When choosing a pair of Ashanit Glasses do not be concerned if the size of the pair you like are not identical to your current pair of spectacles. Each number is given in millimetres so a measurement that is very close should also fit. This is particularly true of the arm length which can vary without affecting comfort. For example, if your existing pair of glasses measure 47mm (lens diameter) x 20mm (bridge width) x 135mm (arm length) then pair of glasses that measure 46mm x 19mm x 137mm would still provide a good comfortable fit.
